1. Acceptance

Accessing, browsing, registering for or using IAbogado.net constitutes full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms, which exclusively govern the legal relationship between the user and the platform.

2. Nature of the Service

iAbogado is an AI chatbot providing general information on legal matters based on language models and publicly available official sources, including legislation and accessible case law. System outputs may contain inaccuracies, omissions or partial interpretations. All use of the information is at the user's own risk and decisions should be verified with a qualified professional. Primary focus is on Spanish law.

3. Registration & Eligibility

Registration requires a valid email address and a password stored using hashing techniques. No additional personal information is collected at registration. The user declares they are over 18 years of age. Deleting the account from Settings will result in deletion of associated data, except where retention is legally required.

4. Prohibited Conduct

Prohibited uses include: unlawful, defamatory, criminal, hate-based, discriminatory or violent use; decompiling the system; circumventing technical measures; mass automated extraction; or interfering with security or availability. Detection of abuse or fraud enables immediate suspension or cancellation of access.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

The paid plan operates as a monthly subscription with automatic renewal through a secure payment gateway. Cancellation can be made at any time and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds for the current month are generally not available, without prejudice to applicable statutory withdrawal rights.

6. Privacy & Data

Only the minimum necessary data is processed: email address and password (hashed). The purpose is strictly limited to service operation, authentication and support. No data is sold or used for training public models by default. No third-party cookies are set by default. Users may exercise rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection, and may also delete their own account from Settings.

7. User Content

Users retain ownership of content they submit. They grant a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce and process that content solely to the extent necessary to provide, maintain, debug and protect the service.

8. Intellectual Property

The platform's software, interfaces, designs, texts, trademarks and other elements are protected by intellectual property rights. Users are granted a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to access and use the platform in accordance with these Terms.

9. Availability

The service may be interrupted due to maintenance, technical issues or force majeure. The platform may add, modify or remove features as necessary for efficiency or security, with reasonable advance notice where appropriate.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, indirect, special, incidental or punitive damages arising from decisions made on the basis of system outputs are excluded. Total cumulative liability is limited to amounts actually paid by the user in the twelve months preceding the triggering event.

11. Modifications

The current version is maintained on this page. Material changes will be announced with reasonable advance notice. Continued use after publication constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
